LA Court Awards $31 Million in Wrongful Termination, Discrimination Suit

A female employee who alleged she was told she was too dumb, old and female to continue working for the company she had been with for 36 years was well consoled for her labor pains after a Los Angeles court awarded her a cool $31 million dollars for damages and losses related to her dismissal/forced resignation. Codie Rael was 54 when she was terminated not long after turning in her notice of resignation. The move was an alleged attempt by the company to refresh their labor force with younger workers.
