UM Risk Management Program Gains Global Recognition

The Global Centers of Insurance Excellence(GCIE) has recognized the University of Mississippi’s Risk Management and Insurance program as being among the top 12 in the United States, as well as one of the top 20 programs worldwide. Webb-Sanders-Williams is proud to be closely involved with Ole Miss’s RMI program for nearly 20 years, including active participation on the Risk Management and Insurance advisory board.

Ole Miss’s designation to GCIE will be announced along with the 19 global nominees before an audience of 500 senior executives, academics, and policymakers at the IIS Global Insurance Forum, which takes places in London July 17-20, 2017.

Congratulations to the University of Mississippi RMI program and advisory board for this distinguishment. Of course we extend personal congratulations the educators whose commitment and excellence has resulted in this recognition. This includes the Dean of the Business School Kenneth Cyree; Andre Liebenberg, the Gwenette P. and Jack W. Robertson Chair of Insurance and associate professor of finance; and Stephen Fier, the Liberto-King professor of insurance and associate professor of finance.
