In 2020, Rashelle Bruno filed claims of unpaid overtime compensation against Shirley Mayberry and Nicole Ford under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Mayberry and Ford hired Bruno in 2017 to work as a caregiver for disabled people living in a group home.
