On Wednesday, October 6, 2021, the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Treasury released guidance concerning the latest COBRA deadlines in connection with the ongoing pandemic. The guidance, which has been concurred by the Department of Labor and Health and Human Services, clarifies the new COBRA deadlines for signing up and paying for coverage.
